Felt like painting suddenly and decided to do it! Drew a little sketch on a piece of cardboard and painted and it was REAL QUICK! The bottom one is the one I did today. Its based off a sketch of a Rodin and then I looked at a picture of the sculpture and so it's basically just based on the sculpture, cep for its from looking at a PICTURE...and so that's not from life...so yeah.
Anyway I think Ima make a series of paintings like this. Whatever this is. I guess its figures on cardboard that are in sort of radical colors. They look a little crazy afterward maybe, but when I paint them It doesnt seem strange. This last one I did, even though it at times is the hardest to tell what it is, seems like the most realistic of the figures in the series so far.
If you cant tell, it is the figure of a woman with one of her legs bent holding it to her body with her arms and the other leg is just kinda disappeared aaaaand so has her head.
