Looking at Anthony Goicolea reminded me of this picture I saw on a website. Its a photo by Charlie White. I looked some of his other stuff, but this was my favorite. His work is very strange and I think It is supposed to make the viewer somewhat uncomfortable. He has a series called "Understanding Joshua" where he has a character who is made up in these strange situations. I'm not sure what I think about it completely. I can draw my own conclusions as to what I think it means, but I could be wrong, but then again I guess thats always a possibility in art. Anyway, the Anthony Goicolea images reminded me of the pictures of "Champion" because of the use of the added head. It reminded me also of how Caravaggio used to paint himself into his works and he would use images of himself as a youth and as well as himself when he was older in the same painting.
